LOAD24 Privacy Policy

Overview
LOAD24 ("we", "us", "our") connects vehicle owners, drivers, transporters, brokers and shippers across India. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the LOAD24 app and website, why we collect it, how it's stored and protected, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
By creating a LOAD24 account or using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Data we collect

How we use your data
- To create and secure your account, and verify your identity through KYC
- To match shippers/transporters with vehicle owners and drivers based on loads and routes posted
- To let our sales team contact you by phone once you tap Like on a load or vehicle, and help negotiate and close the deal
- To process and verify payouts against the bank details you provide
- To send OTPs and account-security notifications (WhatsApp, SMS, push notifications)
- To respond to support tickets and provide customer service
- To calculate trust scores and display ratings/reviews between users who've completed a deal
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations under Indian law
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Infrastructure providers — our database, authentication and file storage are hosted on Supabase; KYC documents are kept in a private, access-controlled storage bucket
- Communication providers — SendGrid (email), and WhatsApp/SMS gateways (OTP delivery)
- Other users, selectively — a shipper and a matched vehicle owner (or vice versa) may see relevant load/contact details needed to complete a deal; ratings and reviews you leave are visible to other users
- Law enforcement or regulators — only when legally required (e.g. a valid court order or tax authority request)
How we protect your data
KYC documents and bank details are stored in access-controlled private storage, not publicly accessible. MPINs are stored as one-way hashes and are never visible to LOAD24 staff. Access to personal data internally is limited to what's needed to operate the platform (e.g. verifying KYC, resolving support tickets).
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, most personal data (profile, KYC documents, bank details, MPIN, OTP records, device tokens, consent records, load/booking history, support tickets) is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Two exceptions, required by Indian law:
- Financial and transaction records (e.g. GST-linked invoices, payment ledgers) are retained for 8 years for tax and regulatory compliance, then deleted
- Records tied to an active legal or regulatory dispute are retained only until the dispute is resolved
Your rights
- Access & correction — view and edit your profile information any time from Profile → Settings in the app
- Deletion — request permanent deletion of your account and data at any time (see the Delete Account page)
- Withdraw consent — you can withdraw consent for non-essential processing (e.g. push notifications) from your device or app settings

Children's privacy
LOAD24 is a business-to-business logistics marketplace intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the app evolves or regulations change. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date, and significant changes may also be notified in-app.
